ISO 9001 is an international standard that sets out the criteria for a Quality Management System (QMS), applicable to any organisation, regardless of size or sector. Its aim is to improve organisational efficiency and performance through good management practices.
The assessment criteria include context analysis, risk management and organisational knowledge.
The requirements include setting measurable objectives, leadership support, the organisational structure and the monitoring of processes.
The certification is issued by Dasa-Rägister S.p.A. (visit the page), following an audit to verify the system’s compliance.
CERTIFICATIONS UNI/PdR 125:2022
Through its Gender Equality Policy, Explora is committed to preventing discrimination, promoting diversity and supporting a healthy work-life balance, applying this policy at every stage of professional development.
This realisation has led Explora to embark on a process towards UNI/PdR 125:2022 certification (Certificate No. IPDR -0924-10 Dasa Rägister).
The S.C.S. Children’s Museum has adopted a Gender Equality Management System (GEMS), in line with best practice, to promote gender equality and the professional development of women, as well as to create an inclusive environment that values the unique qualities of its workforce.
Obtaining certification is only the first step towards implementing gender equality policies and improving staff wellbeing: the Cooperative is guided by the principles of impartiality, fairness, staff development and combating all forms of violence and discrimination.
The cooperative was awarded, in 2024, the grant provided for under the Regione Lazio Impresa Rosa scheme, which forms part of this growth strategy by encouraging businesses to adopt management systems promoting gender equality.
