The event
On Saturday 18th and Sunday 19th May, Explora takes part to the Sustainable Development Festival with Weekend Let’s STEM 2.0, the event proposed in cooperation with Keysight.
During the event, a cycle of workshops, addressed to children from 6 years old, are offered inside the museum. The workshops are inspired by STEM and Tinkering.
Thanks to informal, playful and creative activities, children can discover Science, in a valuable way that enables them to acquire knowledge, skills and exploring Mathematics, Science, Engineering and New Technologies.
Playing with electrical circuits that allows children experimenting and designing new connections, deepening the link between materials and elements.
Explora’s activities, characterised by informal learning, encourage an approach to STEM that promote quality education and gender equality.
Sustainable Development Festival
Following the success of previous editions, the annual appointment with the Sustainable Development Festival of 2024 is back: from 7 to 23 May 2024, the Alleanza Italiana per lo Sviluppo Sostenibile (ASVIS), comprising by more than 320 organisations from the economic and social world, organises the Festival which lasts 17 days, as the numbers of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) set out in the UN2030 Agenda.
