LIBERTY is a project co-funded by the Creative Europe Programme of the European Union.
Description
The project aims to motivate and provide young artists, directors and performers with food for thought about the future of Europe by engaging them in the project, from concept development to public entertainment. This will help create a network of exchanges, meetings, common initiatives and collaborations among different countries.
LIBERTY brings together 12 cultural partners from 10 countries, partners with shared values, passions and commitment; the project is an initiative that was coordinated by UK agency ArtReach and involves Explora and other partners: The Festival Altonale (Amburg, Germany); CESIE (Palermo, Italy); TNRS (Romania); Aalborg Karneval (Denmark); Center E8 (Serbia); CNC Dance (France); Pionirski dom (Slovenia); Swinging Europe (Denmark); Trafo House of Contemporary Arts (Hungary); European Educational Exchanges (Belgium).
The project aims to: create an international team of artists from all partners’ countries; create a portfolio of 750 international artists under 30; organize a festival featuring performing arts, seminars and activities to engage the whole community.
