Quanti mesi is Explora’s interactive exhibition, created in collaboration with the Villa Claudia Group, which tells the story of the most incredible adventure for every living being: birth.
A journey of discovery into viviparous, oviparous and ovoviviparous animals and their reproduction, in an exhibition that combines scientific concepts with playful experiences.
Quanti mesi offers a unique opportunity to develop a passion for scientific topics through an innovative and engaging approach.
Comprising five interactive stations, Quanti mesi is an exhibition designed to help visitors discover living organisms and the process by which they reproduce.
The exhibition is designed to address, in an educational yet informal way, questions about the birth and functioning of the human body. Through an engaging and accessible approach, the exhibition aims to make fundamental topics for personal and social development understandable, encouraging discovery through a stimulating environment rich in in-depth information.
The 5 stations
If I were a lion cub
An immersive experience that allows you to experience the sensations of a lion cub before birth, in an environment that evokes the savannah with lights, sounds and colours.
This station is also accessible to people with hearing impairments thanks to a magnetic induction loop, which enhances sound reception for those using hearing aids.
Back in the Womb
An exciting journey through the human body during pregnancy, with a sensory experience that simulates the lights, sounds and colours of the prenatal period.

How long?
An interactive activity to explore the durations and differences in the gestation processes of mammals. Interesting facts and scientific details help you learn more about the various living creatures on the planet.

An exhibit that reveals how ultrasound scans work and allows you to explore the stories held within the ‘bellies’ of viviparous animals.
Oviparous and ovoviviparous animals
A fun and educational activity to discover the differences between oviparous and ovoviviparous animals, delving into the extraordinary birthing processes of various animal species and learning to respect and protect the natural world around us.
