Activities in the garden, from 12.00 to 18.30, with continuous sessions

• Pingu’s English Fun Corner!
  An open, ongoing space dedicated to all boys and girls who want to play and have fun with English. During the session, participants are free to drop in and choose from language games, colouring pictures and fun worksheets suitable for different age groups. Through simple words, pictures and small challenges, children can discover and practise new English vocabulary in a playful and engaging way. The activity is led by staff from Pingu’s English Italia and is also open to absolute beginners who are just starting out on their English language learning journey.

• CYBEX Sled Test – Travelling safely means learning together!
  Every family journey begins with safety. With the CYBEX Crash Test Simulator, young and old alike can enjoy an immersive experience that helps them discover, in a simple and intuitive way, why using a car seat correctly is so important. Through an educational demonstration led by CYBEX experts, families will have the opportunity to observe the safety systems in action up close, ask questions and receive useful advice to approach every journey with greater awareness. An activity designed to turn prevention into a moment of discovery and discussion, because children’s safety is also enhanced through knowledge. At 12:00 and 16:30, a special workshop will turn boys and girls into little car safety experts: through games and practical exercises, they will learn to recognise correct behaviour and how to adjust seatbelts and headrests. At the end, they will receive their car safety expert certificate and CYBEX goodies.

• Bees – what magic! With Mielizia – CONAPI
  Did you know that bees also produce beeswax? Let’s find out together with Mielizia: let’s learn where beeswax comes from, how bees use it in the hive, and how we can give it a new form. A sensory and creative experience to learn how the smallest of actions – just like that of a worker bee – can create something extraordinary.

Activities at the museum at 10.00, 12.00, 15.00 and 17.00

• Dinosauri in Carne e Ossa – Get your Dino
  Inside the museum, there is a special, free event running continuously, dedicated to all prehistory enthusiasts. During the activity, you can create – together with palaeoartist Marzio Mereggia from the ‘Dinosaurs in Flesh and Bone’ exhibition at Rome LIFE’s Appia Joy Park – a sketch of your favourite dinosaur to take home as a souvenir or to colour in on the spot.
  Ages 3 and over.

Activities at the Explora Bookshop: free entry, but booking is essential, from 11.00 am to 12.00 pm.

• PINGU’S ENGLISH – Play with Pingu!
  Let’s have fun with toys in English too! During the ‘Play with Pingu’ workshop, children will be able to play, move about and have fun whilst learning lots of English words linked to their favourite toys. Teddy bears, dolls, toy cars, building blocks, balls and lots of other toys will feature in songs, stories, movement games and small interactive activities designed to stimulate the curiosity and participation of the little ones. A fun and engaging experience to introduce children to the English language through play and help them discover new vocabulary in a simple and natural way. The workshop will be led in English by the team at Pingu’s English Italia, using a playful and engaging approach, and is also open to absolute beginners who are just starting to learn English.
