What to do in Rome on 29 June?

Explora is exceptionally opening on Monday on the occasion of the celebration of Saints Peter and Paul, the patron saints of the city of Rome.

The museum awaits you for an exciting experience, a journey where you can explore, play and learn in complete freedom.

With its 2,000 square metres of interactive exhibits, Explora is a favourite with children aged 0 to 11.

On the ground floor, you can experience the thrill of shopping in a child-friendly supermarket, tending the vegetable patch, playing with the fountain and discovering the secrets of the wind.

And that’s not all! You can challenge your friends to a thrilling team game on the Circular Economy and venture into the dedicated ‘Little Explorations’ area, where every corner holds a new discovery.

Discover the power of play and knowledge

Head up to the first floor, where PARI awaits you: a play-based journey comprising 11 interactive installations designed to encourage you to reflect on and explore equal opportunities.

And then there’s Economiamo: earn and save, donate and invest! Across 10 interactive stations, economics becomes a fun and engaging game, where learning is a never-ending adventure.

The Explora Museum: where play is the driving force behind everything

Here, doing is more important than saying, and every activity is designed to stimulate the natural desire to learn that lies within every child.

Discover a place where fun knows no bounds and every visit is an opportunity to learn and grow: at the Explora Museum, play is not just a leisure activity, but the heart of an unforgettable experience.
