Christmas at Explora

What to do with children during the festive season in Rome? The Explora museum is the best place to experience the magic of Christmas.
The thrill of sharing and discovery, for an unforgettable visit to spend with family and friends, in a unique atmosphere in the centre of the city.
Over two thousand square metres of exhibits all to be explored: the fountain and experiments with water, the Team Game, the Vegetable Garden, the Supermarket and many other creative and educational games for children.

• Saturday December 23rd to Sunday January 7th (closed on 25 December and 1 January)

Opening times: 10 a.m., 12 noon, 3 p.m. and 5 p.m.

In the Museum

During the visit, many activities to stimulate creativity between art and innovation:

• 3-11 years – Elves’ workshop: the activity dedicated to making imaginative decorations for the Christmas festivities, choosing from soft felt, die-cuts and coloured scotch tape;

• 6-11 years – Christmas escape: the activity to solve puzzles among clues and mysterious messages leading to the solution;

• 3-11 years – A sky of creativity: the activity to invent original creations in Explora’s digital sky.

Modalities of participation: continuous activities and free use included in the cost of the visit ticket.

In the garden

The Christmas Quiz is waiting for you in the green area of Explora, a fun treasure hunt in the Explora garden to discover the secrets of the Christmas characters. By connecting any device to the hidden QRs, all participants can collect the clues, passing tests and challenges and receiving nice digital trophies.
