The event

In celebration of Rome Future Week 2025, from 15 to 21 September, the garden of Explora, Rome’s Children’s Museum, will be transformed into a space of discovery and wonder dedicated to one of the four fundamental elements: water.

Essential for the life of all creatures on the planet, water is a precious resource that must be understood, safeguarded and protected.

How can we accompany children on a journey of awareness and discovery of this element?

The answer lies in the game Caccia al Tesoro Blu (Blue Treasure Hunt), a free and accessible activity that takes place in the museum garden. An initial panel guides players in their search for QR codes hidden in the green area, through which they can answer questions, obtain clues and advance in the challenge.

The game is free: all you need is a connected device to participate, making it suitable for all ages.

Blue Treasure Hunt is an activity designed and developed by Explora, intended to encourage sharing between adults and children and combine digital technology with physical movement in an active learning experience.

The value of the game lies not only in the transmission of knowledge, but also in the opportunity to explore, interact and have fun together, through a language accessible to everyone.

Discovering water through play also becomes an opportunity to introduce the public to a great new feature: the reopening of the water games. From 27 September, children will be able to return to this area of the museum, which has been renovated as part of the Explora Cresce project, supported by the Fondazione Roma.

Rome Future Week

It is the largest open event on innovation, technology, sustainability, and inclusion. Returning for its third edition from 15 to 21 September, it involves institutions, associations, and organisations from Rome and across Italy. Visit the website dedicated to Rome Future Week.
