The event
On Sunday, 9 November, the Kids Energy Festival – Autumn Edition returns to the Explora green area.
A fun day with activities and workshops dedicated to movement, designed for children aged 3 and up.
After last year’s great success, the Kids Energy Festival offers free experiences dedicated to combining physical activity and creativity, encouraging discovery. The event, sponsored by Rome City Council’s Municipality II, is offered thanks to Storie in Movimento, a project funded by Con i Bambini and Fondazione Cariverona, coordinated by the Pleiadi group.
The activities
NIn the museum’s green area, from 11:00 to 17:30, you can take part in lots of creative and physical activities designed for children aged 3 to 7.
To participate, you must register using the Eventbrite form, choosing between two time slots:
- Morning (from 11:00 to 14:00)
- Afternoon (from 14:30 to 17:30).
The ticket allows you to freely participate in the activities offered during the chosen time slot.
Please note: if you have booked and are unable to attend, please cancel your tickets directly through the Eventbrite website, allowing other children to participate. Thank you.
Healthy eating: microscope, fruit and vegetables, to talk about healthy eating.
Age: from 3 years
Art in motion: spin bike activity dedicated to creating works of art using a bicycle and rotating planes.
Age: from 3 years
Treasure hunt… in the human body! – A challenge dedicated to the human body and movement: an adventure through muscles, bones and joints to discover how our body works when it moves. All you need is a connected device to start the challenge and find all the QR codes hidden in the green area that lead to interesting questions about the human body.
Age: 3 and up
Train for fun: move your body!
Movement, play and sports activities organised by Space Gym- Rome.
Age: from 3 years
With my hands I can: animated reading at the Explora shop “With my hands I can: 18 nursery rhymes for playing with your body”:
At 11:30, 12:30, 15:30 and 16:30

Snacks are provided by Centrale del Latte di Roma.
The project
The Kids Energy Festival event is made possible thanks to Storie In Movimento: lotta alla povertà educativa in età prescolare (Stories in Motion: fighting educational poverty in preschool), a project created to promote healthy motor and nutritional development in preschool children through initiatives involving teachers, families and institutions.
The project is funded by Con i Bambini and the Fondazione Cariverona, coordinated by the Pleiadi group. The activities are carried out according to an innovative and evidence-based approach and organised by teachers guided and trained by researchers from the Centre for Research on Motor Development in Childhood at the University of Verona and by operators from the third sector specialising in innovative teaching approaches.
