The event

To celebrate the 100th anniversary of Il Giornalino, a big party at the Explora museum with four dedicated workshops and free admission, subject to availability, for all visitors.

On Wednesday 23 October, at 5 p.m., the big presentation event for the four new monthlies.

The event will be moderated by Eleonora Daniele, journalist, television presenter, mother of little Carlotta and author of her latest book ‘Il pigiama a polka dot’, with Father Enzo Fortunato returning from the great success of World Children’s Day: they will accompany families through the magical world of children and, together with the director Don Simone Bruno, inside the new Giornalino.

Taking the afternoon’s curious eyes by the hand and guiding them through stories, drawings and new technologies will be four famous personalities from the world of culture and childhood, including Marco Martinelli ‘il giallino’ and Michela di Martino, well-known and affectionate faces of Rai Yoyo, Rai Gulp and Rai Play, guides of the four workshops dedicated to the four new monthlies.

The workshops will be dedicated to the topics of the new monthlies and offered to children aged 6 to 11:

Animals and nature for an edu-green education to discover nature and ecology;

Art and creativity to get to know the world of art and be a protagonist in it;

Science and Discovery, for an engaging insight into science and the great discoveries that changed the world;

Games, stories, laughter with quizzes, jokes and word games to stimulate the mind and play while having fun.

Il Giornalino

Born on 1 October 1924 thanks to the intuition of Blessed James Alberione, founder of the Society of St. Paul, for a century it has accompanied entire generations of children, parents and grandparents, and today it is ready to renew itself to continue its mission as always: to entertain and help grow, in a healthy and engaging way. Il Giornalino has always managed to renew itself with the changing generations, languages and topics, always treated in an innovative and multidimensional way.
