The event

On Saturday 21st September, the event to celebrate World Rivers Day at the museum with piùblu WE CAN BLU IT!.

The activity

In the museum, an activity designed to encourage girls, boys and adults to clean and keep rivers clean for the preservation of ecosystems.
During the 10:00 a.m., 12:00 noon, 3:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. visiting hours, the activity ‘A Sea of Creativity’ is planned to give space to the imagination and give life to monsters and creatures cleaning the sea and rivers.
Once the work is finished, it is possible to see the creations come to life with the help of digital technology.
In fact, an installation in the museum allows the works to be transformed into animated creations, thus integrating art and multimedia.

In the green area

Under the atrium in the outdoor area, the piùblu staff is also waiting for girls, children and adults to learn more about the mission of piùblu and to join as ambassadors for the Tiber clean-up day on Sunday 22 September.

piùblu WE CAN BLU IT! is the official event of World Rivers Day in collaboration with the European Parliament and the European Commission. It enjoys the patronage of the Ministry for the Environment and Energy Security, CONI, Roma Capitale, ASVIS Italian Alliance for Sustainable Development, WWF and the Italian Rowing, Canoe and Kayak and Dragon Boat Federations as well as the support of Marevivo ETS, Tevere Day and Goumbook.
