What to do in Rome over the June 2 long weekend?

Explora will be open for a special session on Monday, June 1, in celebration of Republic Day!

The museum invites you to an exciting experience—a journey where you can explore, play, and learn in total freedom.

With its 2,000 square meters of interactive exhibits, Explora is a place loved by children ages 0 to 11.

On the ground floor, you can experience the thrill of shopping in a child-friendly supermarket, tend the vegetable garden, play with the fountain, and discover the secrets of the wind.

And that’s not all! You can challenge your friends to an exciting team game about the Circular Economy and venture into the “Little Explorations” area, where every corner holds a new discovery.

Discover the power of play and learning

Head up to the first floor, where you’ll find PARI, an interactive exhibition featuring 11 exhibits designed to encourage you to reflect on and explore equal opportunity.
And then there’s Economiamo: earn and save, donate and invest! Across 10 interactive stations, economics becomes a fun and engaging game, where learning is a never-ending adventure.

The Explora Museum: Where Play Is the Driving Force Behind Everything

Here, action speaks louder than words, and every activity is designed to stimulate the natural desire to learn that resides in every child. Discover a place where the fun knows no bounds and every visit is an opportunity to learn and grow: at the Explora Museum, play isn’t just a passtime, but the heart of an unforgettable experience.
