Description<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Media Master – MEDMAS, is a project co-funded by the Citizens, Equality, Rights and Values (CERV) program of the European Union that aims to increase media literacy and civic engagement in nine EU countries, targeting different groups such as secondary school children, university students, educators and journalists.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Objectives <\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The project focuses on the realisation of a multilingual board game, accompanied by a mobile application, which reproduces real media and news scenarios, simulating false and misleading news and social media content.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The game helps users develop critical thinking skills and recognise misinformation and together with the ap is designed for use even after the project has ended.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The project is divided into 5 thematic work areas and includes 45 events with an involvement of more than 3000 users in debates, conferences, presentations and round tables on media literacy and fake news. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The initiative focuses on involving young people, a generation generally considered difficult to engage in civic dialogues. The aim is to stimulate the younger generation to become proactive citizens by establishing a culture of open discourse and debate through events and digital platforms.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

European partners <\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Thirteen partners from nine European countries collaborate in this project, which is inclusive, committed to gender equality and non-discrimination. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
