Activities in the museum\u2019s outdoor area are open to all and run continuously; free entry to the museum, but booking is compulsory from 26 June.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The event<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Like many other organisations, Explora is also opening its doors for the fourth edition of Felicitt\u00e0<\/strong>, the event organised by the Department of Heritage and Housing Policy<\/em>, to showcase the places and organisations that form a significant part of Rome\u2019s heritage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Thursday 2 July<\/strong>: activities in the outdoor area from 6.00 pm to 7.00 pm, and a free guided tour of the museum<\/strong> at 7.00 pm, lasting 1 hour and 45 minutes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

All the activities are designed to introduce children to Rome\u2019s cultural heritage, weaving together stories from the past and the future that connect so many different aspects of the city.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Explora Museum is part of the city\u2019s heritage: this year marks the 25th anniversary of its opening<\/strong>, and \u2018Felicitt\u00e0\u2019 provides a further opportunity to share this milestone with its visitors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As a space brought back to the community, to families and children, following the new concession (DAC 255\/2025) granted to the Museo dei Bambini S.C.S., Explora reflects on its first 25 years: from a derelict former tram depot to a landmark for informal education which, every year since 2001, has welcomed over 160,000 visitors, promoting the values of cooperation, sustainability, equal opportunities and inclusion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
